Our Junior Girls flag football team showed up on Halloween ready to fight for gold, and they gave us a season we won't soon forget!

The semi-final was the closest game of the year against Appleby College. The girls battled through every play, ultimately clinching the victory with a nail-biting two-point safety that ended the match!

Less than 15 minutes later, the girls were back on the field for the championship against the regular season powerhouse, BSS. Playing through challenging rain and wind, our team managed to take the lead early on. The second half got physical and scrappy, but the girls demonstrated immense grit and strength, right down to the very end.

While the gold slipped away, their second-place finish is a testament to their dedication all season long. Every single girl had an incredible year, and it was truly an honour to both watch and coach such a fantastic group.
