The Jr Girls Basketball team finished the regular season with an undefeated record (6-0 in CISAA, 7-0 Overall) which earned them the right to host the CISAA Final Four last Friday.

They first took on De La Salle in the Semi Finals. After a bit of a sluggish start, the Lady Lions pulled away to a 43-27 victory. They now awaited the winner of the Havergal/Branksome semi final.

As expected, Havergal College advanced. Their only loss of the season was to CPC and they were looking to avenge their earlier defeat.

CPC got off to a strong start and had a sizable lead at halftime. However, Havergal came storming back to take the lead in the 3rd quarter. The 4th was a back and forth affair and when it all ended, the game was tied and they were off to overtime. CPC showed their true grit as they battled to take a 55-50 win and once again capture the Jr Girls D1 Basketball Title. 

Coach Cruz and Coach McLaughlin are incredibly proud of the team and wish the grade 10s best of luck as they move up to the Sr level next year.
