Tuesday afternoon, the U14 Girls Basketball team played their first game of the season against Branksome Hall. There was back-and-forth action as both teams got off to a good start. Audrey Lane had a great game, playing extremely well on both ends of the court. Margherita Salvo displayed great ball control, hustle and effort. Avi Ortuoste made some key baskets. Carina Papa Onu showed great team play, hustle and determination throughout the entire game. Ava Cimerman had great ball control, speed up and down the court, and on-court leadership.

Unfortunately, the U14 Girls Lady Lons came up short with a tough loss by the score of 47-41. The girls showed great determination leading a furious comeback that came up a bit short in the end. Despite the loss, the girls had a great time, and look forward to bringing home a win next game.
