Sr Boys Flag Football Falls short against TYS

The Sr Boys Flag Football team played their final game of the season yesterday. Battling injuries and illness, 3 U14 players were called upon to fill out the roster. Facing a very tough York School team, the boys showed tremendous heart and played some of their best football of the year. Ryo Han ran for an 80 yard touchdown on a QB scramble, looking more like Michael Vick in his heay day. Justin Erlick also broke loose on a long 75 yard touchdown. However, it wasn't enough as they fell 30-20. Unfortunately, this results in CPC missing out on the playoffs.

However, the future is bright. With 5 grade 9 players, and many other returnees next year along with players coming up from the U14, the future looks promising for this squad. Coach Smith and Coach Wight are proud of the team's efforts and look forward to next season
