On Wednesday morning, the Crestwood Junior Boys Hockey Team traveled north to Aurora to take on the top seeded St. Andrew's College squad. The Lions got on the board first with a goal from the slot by Tyler Waloszek. St. Andrews answered back, tying and then taking the lead, before Tadhg Bernardo equalized late in the first.
The second period belonged to the boys in blue, with goals from Charlie Noble and Braden Taylor giving the team a 4-2 lead.
This lead would slip away again, before Ryo Han snatched it back with a goal late in the third. This would be the difference, as Crestwood took a 5-4 win to secure their spot atop the standings going into the Winter Break. Great work team, see you in 2026.
