Jr Boys D1 Hockey Loses Heart Breaking Semi Finals

The Crestwood Junior Boys Hockey team traveled to St. Michael's College School looking to make their third straight final appearance. They opened the game with their best period of the year and took a 2-0 lead.

St. Mike's pushed back with 2 of their own and the game went to the 2nd intermission tied up.

The Lions went down 3 goals in the third and all looked lost, but a 5 on 3 power play lit the fire that led to 4 consecutive goals and a late Crestwood lead. Unfortunately, the team couldn't hold on to their lead and lost a heart breaker in overtime. The game was likely the team's best effort of the year, and the team should be proud of their work.

The team would like to send a special thanks to the players graduating from the team: Harley Altberg, Zach Altberg, Tadhg Bernardo, Jacob Gayle, Maks Meyer, Armen Sayadian, Braden Taylor, and James Vondracek. All the best with your hockey journey moving forward!
