Last Friday, the U14 D1 Boys traveled to Appleby College to compete in the Blue Dog Invitational. In Division 1 of the tournament they played Upper Canada College, winning 35-22; The York School, winning 45-31; and St Andrews College, winning 61-42. 

The Division championship was another match-up with UCC. It was a hard fought game that went down to the wire, and the U14 Lions hung on for the win by just two points, with a final score of 61-59. 

All players contributed at different times, with special mentions to the great post work by Rodin Ekmali, the fast break energy from Ryan & Daniel Hannoush, the spark off the bench Oliver Nisker, and the slashing and defensive energy from John Jang.

The boys will resume there CISAA schedule this Tuesday as they travel to St. Mike's.
