The boys traveled up north to take on a determined Lakefield team.
As has been their M.O., the boys started slow and paired that with panic and a lack of aggression. Lakefield took advantage of that by putting us under pressure, causing turn-overs, and beating us to loose balls. Lakefield built an early lead and never looked back.
As they've shown in the past, once the boys calmed down, they were able to produce some good plays and easy buckets. Marcus's physicality and aggression paid off with a couple steals and strong rebounds. Leopold's determination continually produced opportunities on the offensive end, but unfortunately shots didn't bounce his way. Rohan's grit and desire lead the way for us, and he finished the game with 14 points.
Next up, our fist home game on Monday vs. Bayview Glen.
