Wednesday afternoon the Varsity Slo-PItch team traveled to Bond Park to play their first game of the season. The boys have been working hard in practice and it showed yesterday on the field.

With incredible pitching from Elliot Yau, the team was in good hands. It took the bats a couple of innings to warm up- but Nigel Peskun hit 2 absolute bombs over the fence, Peter Mallinos with some key hits, Ari and Sam loy contributing with strong defense and key at bats. Roman Borgia with solid play at second base and good bat control up at the plate. Christian Oraha, Ronin Walker, Quinn Loch and Karim Remtulla with positive play as well. Two of our veteran players had a big game as well was Will Mackay as he was the back stop and he contributed with some key hits and Harrison Nixon playing strong defense at first and making good contact with the bat.

The final score wa13-1 against Albert College. The boys got season their off to a great start and look forward to their games next week.
