The Varsity Girls Soccer team took on De La Salle last Friday in their first CISAA D1 Soccer Championship game. 

The Lions got off to a hot start by taking a 2-0 lead in the first half. However, De La Salle scored an early goal in the second half to cut the lead in half. Both teams continued to battle throughout the game and eventually, CPC got some insurance and took a 3-1 lead. De La Salle would respond but in the end, the Lions won the game 3-2 and captured the school's first ever D1 Soccer Championship.

Congratulations to all coaches and players on a fantastic (undefeated) CISAA season. 

But the season is not over as the Lions will now head to OFSAA AA Soccer next week in Belleville looking for their first provincial championship.
