The U14 Boys Slo Pitch team went back to UCC on Tuesday to take on UCCp and SMC. 

In the first game against UCCp, the boys played a highly contested game and the game went back and forth. Highlights include Ethan, Oliver, and Nemo combining to turn the team's first double play of the season. However, a few defensive mistakes led to UCCp scoring 5 unearned runs which the Lions could not overcome and ultimately fell 9-7.

They then took on a tough SMC team in which the boys played hard again and kept the game close until the open 5th inning. Trailing by only 3, the boys were feeling confident. However, SMC erupted to score 10 and ultimately take the game 18-7.

As a result, the boys missed the final four but will be playing in an End of Season Event on Thursday, right back at UCC. The boys will look to end the season on a high note.
