The U14 Boys Slo Pitch team went back to UCC for the third time this season to play in the their End of Season event.

Up first was Royal St. George's. In an offensive outburst by both teams, the game remained close until the final inning with RSGC leading 15-12. Then, CPC's bats went MIA. They went down quickly in the 5th giving RSGC the victory and setting up a final game against UCC.

This game was totally different. Defense ruled the day to start with CPC turning two early double plays including an ultra rare 6-5-4 DP. Well done by Oliver, Fletcher, Knox, and Nemo to complete these very slick plays. 

Eventually, UCC got their bats going and led 5-0 going into the bottom of the 4th. Then CPC scored 4 to close the game to 5-4. UCC couldn't score anything in the top of the 5th opening the door for the Lions but it wasn't meant to be. The score did not change and CPC lost another tough one.

Despite the loss, Coach Smith and Coach Wight are incredibly proud of the team's development throughout the season. The boys worked incredibly hard, showed up to practice and everyone got better. We look forward to getting back on the diamond next year.
